Sage the fox keeping watch over a valley at dusk
Screen time, on your terms

Win your evenings back.

— “I'll stand in the way — a challenge between you and the scroll. When your time runs out, beat me at four-in-a-row to earn more.”

How it works

A fox between you and the scroll.

01

Choose today's limit.

Each morning you decide how much the scroll gets — and which apps I guard. The day's budget is your call, every day.

02

I stand watch.

When the allowance runs out, your apps close behind my shield — built on Apple's Screen Time, so there's no sneaking past.

03

Beat me to get back in.

Want more time? Play me at four-in-a-row. Win, and fifteen minutes are yours. Lose or walk away, and the apps rest fifteen.

The pact

Here's the deal.

Your limit, your usage — honestly told.
The challenge
Limit reached — the fox steps in.
The rest

The duel

Think you can beat me?

— “Four-in-a-row. I play fair, and I play well. This is the game that stands between you and one more scroll — try a round right here.”

This demo is the real thing — the same board and the same fox you'll face in the app. Accept the duel, tap a column, and see how your evening would have gone.

Questions

Fair questions.

Can Sage see what I do in my apps?
No. Sage is built on Apple's Screen Time framework, which keeps app activity on your device. The apps you choose to guard are opaque tokens even to us — we can't see which apps they are, and nothing about your usage leaves your phone.
Can I just bypass the shield?
Not casually. The shield is enforced by iOS itself, the same system parents use for Screen Time. There's no snooze button and no rematch — the only ways through are winning the duel or waiting out the rest.
Is the fox beatable?
Yes — deliberately. Sage plays a fair, single-skill game of four-in-a-row. She's good enough that you have to pay attention, and honest enough that every game is winnable.
What happens at midnight?
The day ends, but the apps stay resting until you open Sage the next morning and choose a fresh limit. Each day's allowance is a deliberate decision, not a default that quietly renews.
Which apps can Sage guard?
Any apps you pick — most people choose their social and video apps. You select them with Apple's own app picker, and you can change the list anytime in Settings.
How does the free trial work?
The annual plan starts with 14 days free. You'll be reminded before it converts, and you can cancel from your Apple account at any point during the trial and pay nothing.
